Jena has two train stations: Westbahnhof for regional trains to Weimar and Erfurt; Jena-Paradies for regional trains to Rudolstadt/Naumburg and ICE connections to major cities. Public buses and trams operated by Jenaer Nahverkehr GmbH are available but not cheap.
