Overview
Jedburgh is a small Borders town famous for its ruined Augustinian abbey founded in 1138, which escaped complete destruction because it continued as a parish church after the Reformation. The town is a convenient stop on the route between Edinburgh and Newcastle, offering historic sights, pleasant pubs, and access to the rolling Border countryside.
