Overview
Ivalo is the administrative centre of Inari municipality, the largest in Finland at 17,333 km², yet home to fewer than 7,000 people. The town serves as the northernmost gateway to Finnish Lapland's wilderness, with the northern limit of spruce forests visible nearby.
