Tuna dishes are the local specialty April-June. Fresh fish and seafood dominate menus. Daily menu (menú del día) at €10-15 is the best budget dining value.

Spain uses the Euro (€). ATMs are widely available in town. Credit cards accepted at hotels and most restaurants; smaller bars and markets may be cash-only.
Transport
Isla Cristina has a central bus station (C/Manuel Siurot) with intercity connections. Taxis available at C/Gran Vía, 10 and Avda. José Antonio. Local Linea Roja and Linea Azul buses connect to Islantilla.
Weather
Atlantic coastal climate with hot dry summers (28-32°C July-August) and mild wet winters. Sea breezes moderate temperatures. Best beach months May-September.
