Overview
Ibiza city (also called Eivissa in Catalan, or Vila by locals) is the capital and largest settlement on the island of Ibiza, with a population of about 50,000 as of 2019. The town divides into the historic Dalt Vila ("Upper Town")—a fortified hilltop old town—and the modern Eixample district.
