Before you go
Money
Budget around R8,000 total for 2 people including van hire, park fees, and guide. Carry cash, as there are no ATMs near the park.
Packing
Wear sturdy hiking boots, bring rain gear, and carry water. The plateau is cold in the mornings (5-10°C) and can get hot later. Layers are essential.
Safety
Stay on marked trails—the World's End cliff edge has minimal barriers. The plateau can become foggy quickly; don't stray from the path.
Transport
Hire a van for approximately R3,500 (for 2 people) from Nuwara Eliya, including driver, park fees, and guide. No public transport directly serves the park.
