Overview
Hakkâri (Kurdish: Colemêrg) is a city of about 60,000 in far southeastern Turkey, 200 km west of the Turkey-Iran-Iraq tri-point. The main reason to visit is to hike the surrounding mountains, particularly Cennet Cehennem Vadisi (Heaven and Hell Valley), a dramatic gorge accessible by high-clearance vehicles.
