Overview
Golden is a small town in the Columbia-Rockies near Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Since 2000 it has become increasingly tourist-oriented, drawing visitors for its wide array of adventure sports: skiing and snowboarding in winter, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and hang-gliding in summer.
