Overview
Fuding (福鼎市) is a small coastal town in northern Fujian Province, best known as the gateway to Taimu Mountain—one of Taoism's sacred mountains—and as the birthplace of Fuding white tea, prized by Chinese connoisseurs. The town offers a rare blend of seaside fishing villages and forested mountain trails without the tourist density of nearby Fuzhou or Xiamen.
