Overview

Frigiliana is one of Andalusia's most celebrated white villages, perched at 425m on the southern edge of the Almijara-Tejeda Mountains. The village is a labyrinth of narrow whitewashed streets adorned with ceramic tiles depicting the Moorish occupation and Reconquista, earning it the nickname 'village of three cultures' (Muslim, Jewish, and Christian).

Taxis available at Plaza San Sebastian. Bus service to Nerja, Málaga, and airport. The village is very walkable but hilly.

Weather

Mild climate even in winter due to 425m altitude. Summers are warm; winters are comfortable compared to coastal areas.
