Overview
Forsayth is a tiny outback town with just one pub-hotel and a handful of residents, yet it draws visitors for two reasons: it's the western terminus of the historic Savannahlander narrow-gauge railway, and it's the gateway to spectacular Cobbold Gorge. The town sits in the heart of Queensland's Savannah region, a landscape of rolling golden grasslands and ancient rock formations that feels a world away from the coast.
