Overview
Fitzgerald River National Park protects one of Australia's most botanically diverse coastal wilderness areas, preserved largely because its rugged terrain proved too difficult for agricultural clearing. The park offers whale watching at Point Ann (June-October), challenging hikes up the Barren Range peaks, and remote camping along the coast.
