Overview
Fanø is the northernmost island in the Wadden Sea National Park at Denmark's west coast, offering 8 km of white sand beach that serves as a playground for kite flying, surfing, and beach buggies. The island hosts Denmark's first golf course, the Fanø Golf Links, established in 1901.

Best visited May-September for beach activities. Peak tourist season is mid-June to mid-August when car ferry costs 415 kr.
