Overview
Esch-sur-Sûre is a village of roughly 300 permanent residents that draws visitors to two things: the dramatic castle ruins perched on a hill above town, and the Upper Sûre Lake spread out below the dam. The town sits in Luxembourg's Ardennes region, making it a quiet stop between larger destinations like Diekirch, Clervaux, or Vianden.
