Overview
Enniscrone is a small seaside resort in County Sligo with a 2022 population of 1300. The main draw is its unusual Cliff Baths, a Victorian-era white building perched on the beach built in 1890, now closed but the tide-filled rock pools outside remain.

Three mid-range hotels on Main Street and Cliff Road offer B&B doubles from EUR150-180. Atlantic Caravan Park no longer accepts tourers. Ballina 15 km south has more options.
Activities
Surfing lessons available for beginners in calm waters. Golf at Enniscrone Golf Club costs EUR235 per day April-Oct. Seaweed baths are a local specialty.
Connectivity
4G available from Three and Vodafone; Eir signal is poor. No 5G coverage as of 2025.
Events
Black Pig Festival in late July features pig racing and other events inspired by a local legend of a giant poisonous pig.
Transport
Bus Eireann 458 runs every couple of hours linking Enniscrone with Sligo (1 hour) and Ballina (20 minutes). No local taxis; arrange from Sligo if needed.
