Overview
Echmiadzin is the seat of the Armenian Catholicos, head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, making it the spiritual center of Armenian Christianity. The city holds UNESCO World Heritage status for its cluster of ancient cathedrals dating from the 4th to 7th centuries, offering some of the best-preserved early Christian architecture in the region.

Marshrutka line 203 from Yerevan's Kilikiya bus station runs every 30 minutes, takes 20-30 minutes, costs 250-300 dram.
