All prices in British Pounds (GBP). Cash preferred in smaller establishments; cards accepted at hotels and the castle. No ATM in the village itself.
Transport
Stagecoach Bus 56 connects Dunvegan with Portree (50 min) 3-5 times daily Monday to Saturday. A car is essential for reaching the lighthouse, Coral Beach, and hiking trailheads.

Dunvegan experiences Highland weather: rain possible any month, mild temperatures (5-15°C), windy conditions. Pack layers and waterproofs year-round.
