Overview
Doğubayazıt is a windswept eastern Turkish town straddling ancient trade routes between Turkey and Iran. The main draw is İshak Paşa Palace, a 17th-century fortified complex blending Turkish, Persian, and Armenian architectural styles that looms dramatically over the town.

Culture
