Overview
Digby is a blue-collar fishing port of 2,000 people on Nova Scotia's Bay of Fundy coast, famous for its fleet of sea scallop trawlers. The town has a handful of dive bars and waterfront patio restaurants serving the fleet's catch fresh from the boat.

Hike the Balancing Rock Trail on Long Island (1.7 km each way) or visit the Admiral Digby Museum. Both are free.

Most businesses close from mid-October (Canadian Thanksgiving) to early June. Visit between May and September for full services.
Transport
Straightline Shuttle runs from Halifax; King's Transit connects from Wolfville. A ferry crosses to Saint John, NB. No train service.
