Overview
Dholavira is a remote archaeological site in the Kutch district of Gujarat, home to ruins of an ancient Indus Valley Civilisation (Harappan) city. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021, it is the second largest Harappan site in India and the fifth largest in South Asia.

Transport
Daily bus from Bhuj departs at 14:00, arriving at 20:30. Hiring a car or private driver is recommended for flexibility.

Weather
Visit November-December for pleasant weather and flamingo sightings. Summer can exceed 40°C.
