Safety
Black sea urchins are hazards in snorkeling areas. Tricycle fares should be negotiated beforehand. Some transport units are territorial.
Transport
Tricycles are the main local transport in Cuyo Town; agree on fares before departing. Banca boats are essential for inter-island travel. Motorcycle rental available at public market.
Weather
The amihan season (December-March) brings consistent northeast winds ideal for kiteboarding. Habagat (wet season) winds dominate May-October.
