Overview
Comox is a town of about 15,000 people on the east coast of Vancouver Island, approximately 115 km north of Nanaimo. Together with Courtenay and Cumberland, it forms the Comox Valley between the Beaufort Range and Comox Glacier to the west and the Strait of Georgia to the east.

Summers are warm and dry (avg 22°C), winters mild and wet. Best visited May-September for sunny weather. Most rain falls October-March.
