The GR-92 hiking trail passes through Colera. Beach activities include swimming, and Platja del Borró d'enfora is a designated nudist beach.
Beaches
Colera has several uncrowded pebble beaches including Platja de Garbet (449m long), Platja del Borró, Platja dels Morts, and Platja de les Portes as the main town beach.
Shopping
A weekly market is held every Monday, in Plaça dels Països Catalans in summer and Plaça de Javier Ugarte in winter.
Transport
Colera station provides train access on the Barcelona–Girona–Portbou line. The N-260 road runs through the village connecting it to neighboring towns.
