Overview
Cocentaina is a historic Valencian town best known for two festivals of national tourist interest: the Moros i Cristians (Moors and Christians) in August and the Fira de Tots Sants (All Saints' Fair) in November. The town preserves Moorish-era castle foundations, street layouts, and fortified farmhouses (alquerias) from its Iberian and medieval past.
