Overview

The main street between the station and harbor has many affordable restaurants, pizzerias, and bars. Pizzeria al Ghetto is popular but opens only at night with limited pizza options.

Guard luggage carefully on commuter trains to Rome—thieves target bags left in the center boarding section.

Transport

Civitavecchia is Rome's main seaport. Trains to Roma Termini take 80-90 minutes and cost €5-15. The port is about 10 minutes' walk from the train station along the seashore.
