Overview
Château-Richer is a historic municipality on the Côte-de-Beaupré, about 30 km northeast of Quebec City. Founded in the 17th century, it preserves Quebec's heritage through museums, artisan workshops, and heritage trails.

Transport
Route 138 (avenue Royale) is the main road through Château-Richer. Public transit is limited; Intercar buses from Quebec City do not stop here.
