Overview
Cataño is Puerto Rico's smallest municipality by land area (12.5 km²), yet it punches above its weight for visitors thanks to its prime location across the Bay of San Juan. The town is best known as home to the world's largest rum distillery, Casa Bacardi (popularly called the Cathedral of Rum), which draws tourists with its museum, tours, and mixology classes.
