Overview
Cashel is a small town of only 4800 residents that punches far above its weight as a tourist destination. The Rock of Cashel is one of Ireland's most impressive medieval sites, a limestone outcrop crowned with a cathedral, round tower, and Romanesque chapel dating to the 12th century.
