Overview
Carnarvon is a small town of 4,426 people (2016) in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia, standing at the mouth of the Gascoyne River. Once a busy port for livestock shipping, it now thrives on fruit and vegetable growing with a small fishing industry.

Rex Airlines flies from Perth (2hr 15min direct); Integrity Coaches run twice weekly from Perth (12 hours). Car hire available from Avis and Budget.

Free water faucet available at Information Bay on Highway 1, 50 m south of Robinson St junction. Tap water is safe to drink.
