Overview
Carita is a coastal town in Pandeglang regency, about 30 km west of Pandeglang town. It is sometimes called Carita Beach and sits just south of the more famous beaches of Anyer.

Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is used. ATMs are available in town. Bring cash for beachfront vendors and small restaurants.
Safety
Test temporary tattoo ink on a small skin area first, especially if you have sensitive skin. Sea conditions can change quickly.
Transport
From Jakarta, take the Merak toll road and exit at Cilegon Timur. Expect 3-4 hours travel time. Elf minibuses depart from behind Cilegon's Grand Mosque.
Weather
Best visited May-September during the dry season. Wet season (October-April) brings rain and rougher seas.
