Carini draws visitors primarily for its shopping district, the Zona Industriale, which contains more than ten large shopping centres—one of the biggest retail areas in Sicily. History enthusiasts are attracted to the Castello di Carini, a Norman castle begun in 1075 and completed in 1090, with guided tours available in English.
