Overview
Cap de Creus Natural Park offers a dramatic landscape of rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and surreal geological formations shaped by the Tramuntana winds. The park covers both land and sea, protecting diverse ecosystems and serving as a muse for Salvador Dalí, who lived in nearby Portlligat for over 50 years.

Safety
Beware of strong Tramuntana winds, especially near cliffs and coves. Some beaches are only accessible by steep paths. Swimming is prohibited near Pla de Tudela reefs.
Transport
Car is essential for exploring the park. Public transport is limited to buses connecting Cadaqués, Roses, and Llançà. The nearest train station is in Llançà.
Weather
Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers (up to 27°C) and mild winters. Tramuntana winds can be strong year-round. Best seasons for hiking are spring and autumn.
