Overview
Caherciveen is a modest village of 1,300 residents on the Iveragh Peninsula, serving as a key stop on the 214-km Ring of Kerry tourist circuit. The village has two well-restored stone ringforts from the 7th-9th centuries just across Castlequin Bridge, and nearby Knocknadobar is a pilgrimage site.
