Overview
Cabagan is the oldest surviving municipality in Isabela province, established by the Spanish in 1646 and later moved to its present site in 1877. The town is a bastion of the Ibanag language unlike the rest of Isabela, and is nationally known for its eponymous pancit Cabagan noodles featuring soy sauce, fried pork belly, and shallots.
