Overview
Bunnik is a small town in the southeast of Utrecht province, population 15,000 (2019), offering a slower pace than nearby Utrecht city. The main draws are its surrounding nature—forests, farmlands, and the Kromme Rijn river—and the fortresses of the Hollandic Water Line: Fort bij Vechten and Fort bij Rhijnauwen.
