Overview
Bronckhorst is a spacious rural municipality in the Achterhoek region of Gelderland, created in 2005 by merging five former municipalities. While the municipality itself is young, its component villages like Bronkhorst (the smallest city in the Netherlands), Laag-Keppel, Vorden, Hummelo, and Zelhem offer centuries of history, historic castles, and traditional Dutch countryside landscapes.
