Overview
Bo'ao is a small coastal town on Hainan's east coast, most famous as the permanent site of the Bo'ao Forum for Asia — an annual gathering of Asian leaders and business executives. For foreign tourists, the main draws are Yudai Beach, the China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea in nearby Tanmen, and duty-free shopping at the forum site.
