Tamworth Railway Station (Marius Street, daily 8:30AM-4:30PM) is the nearest rail access point. By car: Access via Allan Cunningham Road/B95 which runs through the village. Private transport is essential in Bingara. There is no taxi service and no local bus service. The village centre is walkable along Maitland Street, but reaching attractions like Copeton Dam (59km east), Three Creeks Gold Mine (33km south), or the Glacial Area (37km south-west) requires a vehicle. The nearest car rental agencies are in Inverell, Narrabri, Armidale, and Tamworth.
When to Go
