Overview
The Biesbosch is one of the last remaining freshwater tide wetlands in Europe, a rare habitat where rivers and creeks weave through reed fields, willow forests, and moist grasslands. The park is a sanctuary for waterfowl, migrating geese, and a thriving beaver population reintroduced between 1988 and 1992.
