Belgaum has pleasant weather due to hilly terrain. Summers (April-June) reach 35°C, winters (Nov-Feb) are cool at 13-14°C. Heavy monsoon July-September with 1250mm annual rainfall.
Culture
The city blends Kannada and Marathi cultures. Religious sites include temples, mosques (Masjid-Sata from 16th century), and colonial churches.
