Overview

Park entrance fee is US$5 per day (paid at ranger station). Bring cash as no card facilities exist. Guide hire requires additional cash payment.

Bring all food, water, and supplies. Rain gear essential. Good hiking boots required. No supplies available anywhere near the park.

Remote park with no facilities, no cell coverage, and no emergency services. Hike with a guide and carry comprehensive first aid. Inform someone of your plans.
Transport
Access via 17km unpaved road from Siquirres; allow 1 hour for this short distance. A 4WD vehicle is essential, especially during rainy season. No public transport reaches the park.
Weather
Park open 8AM-4PM daily. Rainy season (May-Nov) makes road access difficult. Dry season recommended for better trail conditions.
