Euro is the currency. Gala Convenience Store (Camier's) by the harbor has a cashpoint and is open daily 8AM-9PM. Credit cards accepted at hotels and restaurants.
Transport
Local Link Bus 266 connects Baltimore to Skibbereen (20 min) every couple of hours. Ferries serve Sherkin (€15 return), Cape Clear (€20 return), and Heir islands (€6 return). No bicycles on ferries.
Weather
Atlantic weather is unpredictable. Fastnet trips are frequently cancelled due to high winds—the area recorded a 191 km/h gust in 2017. Summer offers the best window but expect sudden changes.
