Overview
Bagerhat, originally known as Khalifatabad, is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed historical town in Khulna Division, Bangladesh. The 15th-century Sufi saint Khan Jahan Ali settled here and established the town, constructing numerous mosques in his honor.

Local buses from Khulna cost Tk 30 and take 45 minutes. Cycle-rickshaws within town run around Tk 10.
