Overview
Badalona sits directly on the Mediterranean coast just north of Barcelona, reachable in 15-25 minutes by subway (L2). While often overshadowed by its famous neighbor, Badalona has its own identity: 4 km of continuous beach that draws locals in summer when Barcelona's shores are packed, a strong basketball culture centered on Joventut de Badalona (a top-10 Spanish league team), and a historic center with Roman ruins.
