Anjuna is a popular beach in Goa, north of Baga and Calangute, and close to Vagator and Chapora. The nearest town is Mapusa. It offers a lively scene with restaurants, bars, and a famous Wednesday flea market.
Get around
You can hire taxis, motorbike taxis, or autorickshaws, often available near Starco Junction. Negotiate the price before getting in.

Anjuna beach has restaurants and bars. The Wednesday Flea Market runs from morning till dusk, offering a wide variety of items; haggling is expected. After the market, Cafe Looda has live music. You can rent bikes and houses. There are cyber cafes. Chapora Fort is nearby.

Anjuna has several shopping options: the Wednesday Flea Market, Ingo's Saturday Night Market, Mackies Saturday Night Bazaar, fashion showroom Miriam Strehlau, and roadside stalls. Bargaining is common.
Food and drink
Restaurants serve Goan, Indian, Israeli, Italian, French, and continental cuisine. Avalon Sunset offers multi-cuisine by the shore. Beer is cheap; Kingfisher is common (₹50-70 large bottle). Fenny, a local liquor, is available. Good wine is less common.

There are many places to stay, from hotels with pools to rooms in family houses. Prices vary by season and bargaining. South part near St. Anthony's church is cheaper. Examples: Villa Anjuna (double A/C ₹1000+), Martha's Breakfast Home, Hill View Guest House (₹600).

A multi-cuisine restaurant by the shore serving Indian, Israeli, Continental and Chinese food. Very friendly staff. Being on the shore by the rocks it's a great place to just sit by and enjoy an afternoon drink. It's the first restaurant as you walk southwards towards the beach on the main street of Anjuna. They also hire bikes and has Wi-Fi. They even have laptops that they let the customers use.

Serves pizza and pasta. Is near main crossing, to get there turn left on the way to Paradiso from main crossing, you'll see the sign indicating the way.

A popular organic restaurant. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, amazing choice of salads and the food is fresh and healthy, they do have musicians playing on certain nights, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms also available.
