Overview

Anda offers one of the nicest beaches in the Philippine islands with clean public facilities and decent coffee. Unlike busier Bohol destinations, it provides a quieter atmosphere while still offering access to waterfalls, caves, and the famous Chocolate Hills.

First Consolidated Bank ATM near Town Hall only accepts local PITAKArds, not international cards. Metrobank ATM at Town Hall accepts Visa/Mastercard with PHP 200 fee (2%) and PHP 10,000 maximum withdrawal.

Safety

Sea urchins are present near town beach. Stay within 60m of high water mark or wear water shoes to avoid injuries that heal slowly and can turn septic.

Transport

Tricycle from Tagbilaran ferry terminal costs PHP 50. Mini-vans to Anda cost PHP 130 (1.5 hours) while yellow non-AC buses cost PHP 98.

Water

Free and clean public showers and WC are available on the beach, 30m west of the municipal visitor assistance office.
