Overview
Ambika Kalna is a hidden gem for temple architecture enthusiasts, offering some of Bengal's finest terracotta temples without the crowds of major tourist destinations. The town reached its pinnacle during the late 18th century under the Maharajas of Bardhaman, and three of West Bengal's five 25-pinnacled temples stand here.
