Overview

Alaminos is a small hillside town in Laguna province along the Maharlika Highway, best known for its seasonal lanzones and rambutan available September to October. Transport

Alaminos is on the Maharlika Highway (AH26) between Santo Tomas and San Pablo. Buses between Manila and Lucena stop here. Tricycles and jeepneys are the main local transport.

Weather

Like most of Laguna province, Alaminos has a tropical climate. The best fruit season runs September to October.
