Overview
Akyaka is a low-key beach resort at the head of the Gulf of Gökova, offering a quieter alternative to the package-tour chaos of nearby Marmaris. The town centers on a narrow sandy beach backed by a promenade of bars and restaurants, with boat trips running up Çay Creek into forested canyon scenery.
