Alderney
Alderney is a small, self-governing Crown Dependency in the English Channel, known for its Victorian forts, sandy beaches, and wildlife including puffins and blonde hedgehogs. It offers a slower pace with a unique railway and a rich history from Roman times to WWII occupation.

Sark
Sark is one of the last car-free islands in Europe, where the only motorised vehicles are tractors. Located in the Bailiwick of Guernsey 10 miles east of Guernsey and 25 miles west of Normandy, this 2-square-mile island has maintained its quasi-medieval feudal government under a hereditary Seigneur since 1565.
